Van Wyck Webb, Jr. – CIC

President

 

Van is the President and an account manager for both Personal and Commercial clients.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1971 from UNC-Chapel Hill.  He received his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1993 and attends a CIC advance coverage educational seminar each year.  Van started his insurance career as an underwriter with Great American Insurance Company, and Chubb & Son.  In 1980 he joined Dupree and Webb and in 1987 succeeded his father as President of the agency.  He has chaired the Group Insurance Committee for the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina and has served on the Board of several local charities.     

 

 

 

Adrian Bond  - CIC, CRM

Account Executive/Agent

 

Adrian is an Account Executive and is responsible for commercial insurance sales.  She attended Louisburg College. In 1999 she received the Certified Insurance Counselor designation and in 2005 received the Certified Risk Manager designation.  In May 1999 she attended Biotechnology for Business at Duke University.  This course is designed to give business professionals a better understanding of the biotechnology community.  Adrian started her insurance career 25 years ago in Wilmington, North Carolina.  She joined Dupree & Webb in 1995.   

 

 

Will Webb-AAI, AIS

Account Executive

 

Will is an Account Executive responsible for commercial insurance sales. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech and began his insurance career in 2004.  He joined Dupree & Webb in July 2006.

  

 

 

Anita Guthrie – CISR

Account Representative/Agent

 

Anita is a Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent.  She has been a licensed agent for over 30 years, licensed in 5 states and has worked in both Personal and Commercial lines.  She joined Dupree & Webb in November 2000.  In 2003 she obtained her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation, after completing 5 required courses. 

  

 

Samala Ireland – CISR

Account Representative/Agent

 

Samala joined our agency in 2001 as a Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent.  She has 16 years in insurance as a Customer Service Representative and underwriter with companies and agencies.  

 

 

 

Pat Dillard

Personal Lines Account Representative

 

Pat joined our agency in August 2005 as our Personal Lines Customer Service Agent.  She has 16 years in insurance and is a member of the Insurance Institute of America.  She has extensive education through North Carolina State University and Wake Technical College.

 

 

 

Anna T. Wheeless

 

Anna T. is our receptionist and Administrative Assistant.  She joined our staff in 2003.  She is in the process of obtaining her Property and Casualty license.  

 

 

Connie Tyson

Accountant & Office Manager

 

Connie joined our agency in September 2002.  Connie is involved in several areas of our operation, including, billing and accounts receivable.  She is also a CPA in North Carolina.
